INTERIOR DESIGN + CABINETRY
ON THE NC CRYSTAL COAST
Ruby Peach Design specializes in thoughtful renovation planning, realistic visualizations, coordinated finish selections, and semi-custom cabinetry. I create clear, cohesive plans that help homeowners and contractors move into construction with confidence.
Let’s start creating.
My Story
Ruby Peach Design began as a long-held dream rooted in a love for thoughtful renovation, timeless materials, and homes that feel warm, personal, and full of character.
Named after my great-grandmother, Ruby Peach, this business is deeply personal to me. Her actual signature is woven into the logo, taken from a letter she once wrote as a quiet reminder that home should always tell your story. The name represents both where I come from and where I am going, honoring legacy while creating something new.
Beyond her unforgettable name, Ruby Peach was exactly the kind of woman you never forgot. Full of charisma and style, she greeted everyone with a warm “hi darling” and left a lasting impression wherever she went. Honoring her through this business keeps a sense of family, warmth, and connection at the heart of everything I create. To me, family is home, and that belief quietly guides my work.
Cabinetry brings another part of my family’s story into Ruby Peach Design. My grandfather owned his own cabinet shop, and I have always wanted cabinetry to become part of the work I offer. Today, it allows me to combine thoughtful space planning, functional design, and lasting craftsmanship in one of the most meaningful parts of the home.
Before stepping into interior design, my background was in business management, marketing, and graphic communications. Since college, I have worked in creative roles centered around branding, design, and storytelling, and that love for creating has always been there. Over time, it became clear that interior design was a natural extension of that work, blending creativity, strategy, and intention in a tangible and meaningful way.
My love for interior design truly took shape during my first major renovation. In 2017, my husband and I purchased a brick ranch in Apex, North Carolina. Over the years, we thoughtfully renovated the home while raising our family and learned firsthand how design decisions affect daily life. That experience shaped the way I approach homes today, with a deep respect for character, function, and livability.
As we stepped into a new chapter and planted roots on the coast, Ruby Peach Design became a reality. Renovating our coastal home became the first full-home project I completed all at once under Ruby Peach Design (photos coming soon!). From early space planning and 3D visualizations through material selections and construction, the experience gave me an even deeper understanding of the countless decisions homeowners face and how valuable a clear, thoughtful plan can be before work begins.
Sharing the renovation openly became an extension of my work. Through Instagram, I documented the process in real time and offered a transparent look at what it truly means to renovate or build a home. Having experienced the process from both sides, as a designer and as a homeowner, I understand the excitement, uncertainty, and endless decisions that come with it. That perspective allows me to guide clients with empathy, clarity, and intention.
Today, Ruby Peach Design reflects everything I value about home: thoughtful planning, respect for character, and spaces designed to support real life. I believe homes should feel personal, meaningful, and timeless, creating places where families can grow, gather, and make memories of their own.
My goal is to give homeowners and contractors a clear, cohesive vision before construction begins, making the process feel more thoughtful, organized, and approachable from the very start.
