Cabinetry
Semi-Custom Cabinetry Design + Supply
Thoughtful cabinetry, designed for real life.
From kitchens and bathrooms to bars, mudrooms, laundry rooms, and built-ins, I design semi-custom cabinetry around the way you live and use your home. Every detail is considered to create cabinetry that feels functional, personal, and distinctly yours.
More Than Cabinetry
Cabinetry is about much more than choosing a door style and color. Ruby Peach Design combines the flexibility and quality of semi-custom cabinetry with a complete design experience that considers the layout, function, storage, finishes, and finishing details together. You will work directly with me throughout the process to create cabinetry that functions beautifully, complements your home, and feels thoughtfully tailored rather than builder grade.
A Complete Design Experience
From space planning and storage to countertops, hardware, moulding, and finishing details, every element is considered as part of one cohesive design.
Quality Made in North Carolina
Our cabinetry is manufactured in North Carolina, with Blum soft-close hardware and dovetail drawer boxes included as standard features.
Frameless + Flexible
Frameless construction provides clean lines and efficient storage, while semi-custom sizing and modification options give us greater flexibility when designing around your space.
Finishes That Feel Personal
Choose from a wide selection of door styles, wood species, stains, and painted finishes. Complimentary Sherwin-Williams paint matching offers even more freedom to create a look that feels distinctly yours.

Metropolitan
Woodworks
Metropolitan Woodworks is a semi-custom cabinetry manufacturer located in Gastonia, in the heart of North Carolina’s furniture country. The company has been creating cabinetry for homes for decades, beginning with custom cabinetry before developing its flexible semi-custom product line.
When I decided to offer cabinetry through Ruby Peach Design, I wanted to partner with a manufacturer that would give me the flexibility to create thoughtful spaces designed to feel custom while providing the quality and options my clients deserve. Metropolitan’s North Carolina roots, frameless construction, semi-custom capabilities, and extensive selection of materials and finishes made it a natural fit.
As part of developing this cabinetry offering, I visited the Metropolitan Woodworks factory and toured the production floor. I was able to meet the people behind the cabinetry and see the building, finishing, and assembly processes firsthand. Seeing the care and work completed by hand that goes into each order, along with building a direct relationship with my representative and the manufacturer, gave me even greater confidence in the cabinetry I provide to my clients.
Today, I work directly with Metropolitan Woodworks and my cabinetry representative throughout each project. This allows me to guide the complete design while staying closely connected to the people producing it.
How It Works
A thoughtfully guided process from the first measurements to the final installation.
-
Every cabinetry project begins with a design retainer based on the size and scope of the project. Preparing an accurate cabinetry quote requires significant upfront design work, including detailed measurements, space planning, layout development, visualizations, and thoughtful refinement.
The retainer allows me to dedicate the time needed to fully develop your design before you commit to purchasing cabinetry. If you move forward with your cabinetry order through Ruby Peach Design, the full design retainer is credited toward your cabinetry purchase.
-
We begin with your space, needs, style, appliances, and budget. If your appliances have not already been selected, I can connect you with a trusted appliance specialist who will help you explore your options and extend any available trade savings to you.
Final appliance models and specifications are needed before the cabinetry design can be completed to ensure everything is properly sized and planned.
I develop the cabinetry layout, plans, and visualizations, then guide you through the finishes, storage features, and details that complete the design. Once these decisions are established, I can prepare an accurate cabinetry quote for your project.
-
Once the design is finalized, I review the cabinetry plans and order details with my cabinetry representative. We then review the final drawings, specifications, and cabinetry investment together.
After the design is approved and the 50% cabinetry deposit is received, I submit the order to Metropolitan Woodworks. Their team reviews the submitted order before it is released into production, and I coordinate any questions or necessary updates directly with my representative and the manufacturer.
Standard production lead time is approximately six to eight weeks. An estimated ship date will be provided after Metropolitan Woodworks has reviewed and approved the order for production.

03. Delivery + Installation
For local cabinetry projects, delivery and installation are handled by Sawfish Custom Construction, my trusted installation partner. Working with a consistent installer who is familiar with the cabinetry product and approved design helps ensure the details are communicated clearly and the cabinetry is installed with care.
I coordinate the delivery, provide the installer with the approved cabinetry plans and specifications, and remain involved throughout installation to answer questions and help ensure the completed space reflects the original design.
Delivery and installation are a separate scope from the cabinetry purchase. Sawfish Custom Construction will provide separate pricing based on the size, location, and installation requirements of your project.
Let’s Create Something Beautiful.Beautiful cabinetry begins with a thoughtful plan. Tell me about your space, what you need it to do, and how you would love for it to feel. Together, we can create cabinetry that is functional, personal, and designed specifically for your home.
